Hi
Try restart runtime and recheck API key
Hi @steep hill I suspect the vLLM Server was not properly initiated prior to step 1 of this notebook. Please check back at Step 1 - Deploy Qwen3-30B-A3B Model with vLLM
The second terminal you open should reach "Application startup complete." before you move on in the notebook. Can you confirm?
Yes I tried that and got an error of hugging face error, but that was easily rectified when I installed the suitable version. It seems my system wasn't able to handle the model download and it kept stuck, I'll be trying to another system later
Hi @steep hill When you ran cell #7 the error appeared, but you could have already checked whether the connection was successful when running cell #2🙂
so how do I deploy the Qwen model?
nvm I figured it out, i thought i had to run it on a notebook cell turns out I was wrong
do we need to apply for AMD cloud credits to start ai agent hands on lab in amd trainig with vllm
was wondering is it really required or we can wait till we really need it as it has no of days expiry limit
Hey @steady shadow I believe you can go through AI Agents 101 and 201 courses without access to the Jupyter notebook environment. But after that you will need to get it
Jupyter notebook is available in docker
docker hub images provide that easily
do we need gpus
Lets ask @charred cloud to jump in and help, he is the AI Academy guru. Eric could you please clarify
@steady shadow , no you don't need to use AMD Cloud Credits to take AI Academy courses. The labs associated with AI Academy courses can be accessed via one-click Jupyter notebooks that only require you to log in via Github. You do not need separate GPUs to run those labs. Hope that helps!
Hey,I am getting too much error while running the given code like its saying can't able to detect the latest transformer version and also it can't able to connect with port:8000.
Hi @stark palm
Could you attach logs as text file
Can you tell me how can I check my notebook which was running as I am seeing it's closed.
I think that if cloud based notebook is closed you cannot get logs from it. You can rerun cells.
