I don't know what causes it, but the daily mission progress can't be redeemed and is stuck at 4/4 while you have to kill 5. I've killed like 7-8 by this point without avail. Restarting, doing an extra run, etc. nothing seems to help. The only way to get rid of it was rerolling.
We died against the optional light boss for which u need to find the item, maybe that's what causes it when you're at 4/5 and somehow a 5th player joined the coop in that round.

If u look it says 4/4 but the mission says 5 bosses do its a glitch/bug just reroll it

Yeah i had to use all 3 of my rerolls two days in a row becaue of this 🤣 - saw many people on reddit get issue too, definite bug!! You're not alone (i had like 8+ bosses done and still wouldn't trigger - not a visual bug)
