I have been hearing complaints from people like myself in-game saying the fish cooldown is annoying, should be removed, etc. So, I would like the AC Dev Team to reevaluate the cooldown/limit.
Thank You, JJ

yes. i've already lost a couple of fish from it because when i hop on to fish, i can often catch upwards of 50-60 in one sitting if there are other people in the lobby to talk with. and it's quite annoying pouring my whole bag out into the tank just for a majority of the fish to not even be accepted

i was wondering how it worked, i was thinking it was a set amount of fish or something

#

should definitely still raise it tho, it's annoying having ONLY good fish in your bag, trying to turn them in, and most of them flopping everywhere because the first three fish met the limit

# snow ivy Its the worst solution

It’s the best because without it, people could easily get one expensive fish and just dupe it over and over again and pour them all into the tank and just avoid the point of fishing

heres the thing

#

people will dupe

#

get inf money

#

then realize they are missing out

#

and quit duping

#

but at the same time, the economy sucks. and the adventures we have ingame arent even that rewarding

#

we kinda are forced to dupe

You are not forced to dupe. The reward is that the more you go explore, the better materials you get. For example, if you only explore the light forest, you’ll only find mediocre artifacts that don’t sell for much. But if you search dark forest, you’ll come across the haunted mansion. By getting the key, you’ll gain access to a giant core that contains bunches of expensive ores that are worth thousands of nuts. You risk danger to get better rewards. The adventures are rewarding, you just don’t want to take the time to expand them

This fish selling cooldown is the worst. you're telling me I have to wait an hour just to sell another valuable fish that I catch? It's not validated at all, I put in five fish that are somewhat valuable and then I cannot sell any fish for a full hour whether it's a crapy or a rainbow trout it completely ruins the flow of the game

It’s completely validated because it prevents people from just getting one expensive fish, duping it, and just ignoring actually catching fish. If you’ve played this game, you’ve definitely seen someone join a random server with multiple bags of stuff and just dump things like fish for people to sell. This gets rid of the point in fishing since if there was no limit, people could just buy anything they want peopl the fishing store. Just be glad that it resets after an hour and not a day

If the limit is around 8000 like you have said, then just three of a somewhat valuable fish completely fill up the limit and then you have all the other fish in your backpack that you've been catching that you cannot sell and if you're going for the leaderboard in the pirate ship, then that means that you cannot participate in that any further until a full hour has passed, which most people don't stay in a server for a full hour

#

Also yes duping is going to happen, but just because a few people are duping doesn't mean that the whole player base gets punished for it. The sell limit of ruins fishing because you cannot sell any fish that you have caught

#

Also reporting exists for a reason.

Fishing is a fun extra feature that has little to no ties to the rest of the progression. If you want to dupe, that's your choice, but I shouldn't have to be so heavily limited on actual fishing just cuz little Timmy wants to immediately get the best rods (which kinda takes the fun out of it anyways to me)
