I dont want the og game back I want them to bring the og LOBBY back and improve it and add all the new stuff into it

For example forest and sewers. They have brought the original versions of those back, and infused the new stuff to it as well to combine old and new content. (Graveyard, pond, etc) That way they have the quality of the old stuff and the fun of the new stuff

If they bring the map back to the old version made in july people would stop playing because there's barely anything to do the reason yall have nostalgia and want it back is because you were having fun back then so much fun that your brain didn't realize it so when it changed over the years it felt so bad you need it back but once it's back you'll hate it because you already did the stuff you wanted to do it's like finishing a puzzle you just admire it and put it back or like a trophy its not big anymore now that you have it

The ONLY thing that bothers me about this whole debacle is how the people wanting the OG map back argument on it.

60% of the people that want this are brainlessly screaming “BrInG bAcK oG!!!” Without actually giving valid reasons.

And when they DO care to answer they either say: “It was just so much better and nostalgic” without actually having played at that time
 or “It’s way bigger!”.

The other 40% (including you) give VALID arguments on what the og map did BETTER which most of them I agree with. However
 since OG has basically become a buzz word most people don’t even care abt em. Thats how these arguments happen.

The biggest thing that bothers me is that you guys say that you want the old map back instead of giving feedback to devs of what they could improve on the current one.

I mean they literally retconned the lore for you guys and gave you an Easter egg by putting it at the end of mountains.

One time I saw a dev say “what did you like abt the old map?” and people started mocking them like “he doesn’t even know what we want 💀💀”

My point is that you say you want the old map back and the explain ASPECTS of how it was better then the current one. When the devs try to make them you aren’t satisfied smh.

They made it bigger, added detail, added some Easter eggs and generally improved texturing on the map.

I feel like you would have more respect and a higher success rate if you say “actual reasons to improve the map” instead of “actual reasons to bring og map back”.

Thats just my thoughts.

For the retcon of the lore I have made a story that could connect it all together into a story that makes sense: ----- The RAM was never tested by canopy. The machine had an overload and caused a ultracritical error, teleporting the massive boat into the middle of the lake, crashing down and splitting the Dam in half. The overload of the machine corrupted everything around it, ripping the fabric of reality and causing the surrounding area to be completely glitchy and warped. the entire map was flooded with water, causing the corruption to spread around the entire mountain, animals retreated to canopy's backup map at the top of the mountain. Eventually the corruption wore off and the flood froze over, leaving the OG map frozen and peaceful. The lost valley was born. Even though Canopy is evil, they decided to create a ski resort. A ski resort down to the old home, animals would gather up there at the old stump and grieve the losses of the people who didnt make it out in time and got drowned by the flood, or consumed by the corruption. Canopy set up a "reality devision" program. This way employees can access digital recreations of the old maps like forest, sewers etc. Since the animals are very close to reinhabiting their home

I never experienced any lag or performance issues and neither did any friends of mine

So you must be lying or just copying it from someone else because ive in fact had more lag in this lobby than I ever did in the v2 lobby

uh heres an updated statement of my opinion on this post

its like a phone from V1 had cons and pros
a phone from V2 is the exact opposite, the cons of V1 are fixed and become pros of V2, the pros of V1 become cons of V2. Some of the pros in the older phone were better.
Now make a decision
A: bring back V1 phone
B: keep V2 phone
C: make a V3 phone (which is very much possible and combines the pros of both worlds)
