You’re calling nostalgia a reason and the reason there is more lag in the current map is because of goop and lag machines that were created because of it. It has NOTHING to do with the lobby.

Second off the old map did NOT have an easier layout. The current one is extremely straight forward. The OLD one was extremely sparse and most new people I encountered in the old map didn’t even know where most of the maps were.

I don’t understand where you get “better looping textures” from. The textures in the new map are worse than the old one I agree but they weren’t proportioned correctly AT ALL.

More realistic lighting has less to do with the map itself but more with the games lighting getting upgraded as the game progressed as a whole.

Less gaps…?? I don’t even know what you’re trying to say with this.

Don’t get me wrong on this I’m ALL FOR more detail, a higher skybox and large map entrances but the rest of these things either don’t make sense or have nothing to do with the old map and therefore give no reason for the old man to just return.
