the old lobby map may have been big, but it also meant little kids would kill you the moment you step out of safe zone, because the safe zone was too small. the reason they made a new map was so that people wouldnt be influenced to kill people right as they leave, so they made specific zones to kill people, like the big zone in the creator studios. the big lake area is good for pvp too but yknow. the forest is a pretty good place for pvp as well, but just avoid the monsters and youll be fine

also, the old lobby map lacked detail. it looked bland and awful, while this one has more details and looks better. i, as well as most of the community, like this current map

i do miss the old map, but i have gotten used to this one, and i believe that coda and his team are trying their best to make updates for us, just not great but they are trying
