i feel like we joke around about the community being the issue a lot, and then nobody ever actually tries to be better. there are tons of toxic people both here and ingame, which is especially obvious when you specifically look for it. either yesterday or two days ago, a couple of my friends and i decided to check out the gorilla tag server's chat, just to see how it was. what we saw was quite a lot less toxicity (actually, there was nearly none, if any to be found). i know this isn't really something that's entirely fixable, but for whatever reason this community is really toxic sometimes
