Colored items you love them or hate them. So I propose RNR, rework not remove. But to know how to rework we must first realize the issue.
So, imagine you are a new player. You grind for hours or days to get an item you want to customize. Oh.. you can't anymore. Well let's imagine they add it back . You take your item a grappler for example go to office you put your grappler in and a key card in the back and nothing happens. Oh you need ducks and supplies. Finally the bars are filled and now you can get your item and you don't get one of the right color. You keep trying until you realize you can't get the color you want, so you give up.
Does that sound fun to you cause it doesn't to me. So how do we rework this?
My idea is at spawn there is a new machine up on the hill or something doesn't really matter where. It would have a screen using the stash to select an item from your body or stash and that will be customized. You then for example on a grappler choose the red part the gray part or the hook and change each color separately with a wheel like the skin customizer. There would also be color presets Incase you don't want to figure out a color yourself (you could also set your own). The last thing is a "Set Default" button that whenever you buy a new item of that type it will have the new colors.
That was a lot but if you read it please tell me what you do and don't like, I want to make this idea as good as possible.
(Also size is still for the office machine because that could give you an actual advantage.)
