When you put it on the crossbow you can graplle on to hard walls. Wight limit there is a limit to how much the rope can you support you wight different ropes (strong rope) and (chained rope) other thing you can do with it, attach your self on monsters and pull players trawds you and pull item to you. And you can get a team of players to hold down a monsters. When you chained the giant he will grab the hook and though you around and depending were he thoughs you , you will take damage. if he thoughs you on the ground you will die if he thoughs you at a wall it will kill you but it will do less damage if you are far away from the wall and if he thoughs you in the air you are fine
