In my opinion the new map is way too small I do also think safezone should be increased with the safezone tape coming back more over I do like the new items and monsters I just don't think enough effort was put in for this update.

There is nothing currently stated in the lore preventing them from remodeling, revamping, or altering the current lobby to look exactly the same or similar to the previous lobby.

The corrupted version of the current map is still in the game, I'm pretty confident they could re-create it or at the very least something incredibly similar with the basic template of where everything is located.

They cant bring it back for lore reasons. Unless they decide something about in in the future. I liked the old lobby but they're not going to bring it back currently. Because they're planning other stuff. I'm not saying it will get added back but it's a slim chance in the future. But what you can do is leave feedback about the new map about what you like and don't like that way they can see your options and others like yours and work them into the game. (The bigger safe zone was one!)
