What is the point of the new update?? I can’t understand what thought process went into making this… why? genuinely why should I play the new forest? what is there for me to gain?

From what I saw, all the update consists of is: trees you need to cut down to fill the campfire, all the campfire does is give you light, there is also monsters that just exist constantly spawning, every once in a while, your watch will start beeping and everything will get dark… then a new monster will come out and walk around trying to step on you… then it turns daytime in the cycle repeats…

i've seen some people say that it gives you crates (the little ones you can pick up specifally) and i hope that isn't the case

I’m also guessing they actually didn’t test this update… the first thing I noticed was a bunch of holes in the map, you have to be trying to not notice that

They’re definitely just riding off the back of 99 nights, there’s no way you can make something this flawed
