The blood moon
the blood moon can happen really rarely
the blood moon is a bit brighter than in the night and everything has a slight red tint
in the blood moon event the monsters are much stronger (faster, more range, more damage) if a monster is chasing a player the monster has no limitations where it can go (even to spawn)
in the blood moon monsters drop blood crates from which you can get better items such as the red flashlight, all the regular items (the less the item costs the less chance you have to get it, more expensive items are more likely to drop) and also relatively rarely you can get the new item the blood lantern
The blood lantern is a new light source
it is like a glowstick (just glows, not a directional light like a flashlight) and is brighter than the glowstick and has more range
it is a dark red color and the light's color is dark red. The blood lantern cannot be unlocked in the tech tree and can only be obtained from the blood crates.
the blood lantern doesnt trigger any light triggered monsters (the ghost lady)
and it can be only turned on/off by players (meaning that the duck ore area in the office and the haunted mansion dont automatically turn off the blood lantern)
The Eclipse
this event can happen really rarely (more rare than the blood moon)
in the eclipse you cannot see anything without a light source
theres some places on the map with lights where you can see no matter what time it is or event (such as the spawn)
all light sources are weaker and can randomly turn off
all the monsters dont make any sounds anymore (or really quiet sounds)
all the monsters are way stronger (faster, more range, more damage, bigger size, not restricted to anywhere and can go anywhere on the map to follow a player or wander)
eclipsed item modifier
if you mine any ores in the eclipse event theres a chance that the dropped item from the ore will be an eclipsed itemor items randomly spawned (for example in the office) have a chance to be eclipsed too
eclipsed items have a black animated glint (like minecraft enchanted items) and a slight black tint
eclipsed items are sold for 20-30 percent more
eclipsed items stay eclipsed even after the eclipse ends
also a new monster for the blood moon or eclipse would be cool but i dont really have any ideas for monsters
i'll probably add more stuff to the eclipse but i dont have any ideas for now
