Unobtainable items glitched?

I put a old scanner in the stash machine, and it's gone, but I had other individual items in their, stuff like hoverpads and a hookshot, and they didn't delete themselves when I next logged on

to be fair they probably didnt expect people to hoard old items like Ebay scalpers

its because they arent "in the system" and cant be seen by the machine as a item

You can fix this by putting them in a backpack
