I think this post is a great idea, one thing though is in my personal experience the ingame spider has NEVER set off my arachnophobia. I recently had a spider crawl on me in my bed and I couldn't sleep for 2 days straight, but the ingame spider is alot less realistic and a lot more cartoony then a normal spider. Its also comically large which makes it a little less scary for me. I think the initial scare from that spider is more the speed and sfx then the actual appearance. Once the ingame spider is lit up and in your face it loses its scare for me personally. I think some ppl who might somehow have worse arachnophobia would like this feature but I personally find it as a good idea, but not a priority. (Sorry for the yap session)

To be honest I don't see the necessity of this, but it would be good to have. For most that even have arachnophobia, its not this intense. This can vary however. It is possible to have a phobia like this, but it's just so rare that this wouldn't be required.

If this WAS implemented into the game, it would be best to just implement a substitute monster
