Hi! Im on a scary situation that could destroy a lot of work.

Malicious software appeared, when booting up, winlogon shell becomes cmd.exe instead of explorer.exe so i get the gray screen of death while no apps can run (suc as task manager, cmd, run, ...)

I have done a lot of progress and before removing everything, I want to add the changes to my commit and push them throught the cmd on troubleshoot, but how????

im on my laptop RN and the issue is on my pc

#

git is isntalled, I can use add ., ... but because im on WinRE. I tried C:game path>C:Git.exe_path add. but gave me: fatal: Unable to create C:/path/project/.git/index.lock: no space left on device even tho I do have enough space

A lot of malicious software just fills out ur entire hard drive

#

Do in PS: Get-Volume to see if you actually have space remaining

#

your right, i don' think it could harm ur laptop, just use a ssd - > usb-c adapater if you have one

#

hopefully ur drive hasn't been encrypted or something like that,

dont do any of that, turn the infected machine off asap

#

what you actually should do is create a bootable USB with recovery linux, boot into that

#

then save your files to somewhere else when youre in
