Okay, what are you trying to code?
Enemy follows the player
Okay, then when you say "doesn't work", which part of it doesn't work?
Player position needs to be vector but it's float (I think, I forgor), move toward
Okay, can you show me the code?
I changed it a lot of times, couldn't recreate, but how do I use documentation so I can make what I want???
I don't need help with one code
I wanna make something by myself
Okay, how are u using the move_toward function in ur code?
Is there any errors?
Player position needs to be vector but it's float , something like this
Can you give the full error message
Also, are you trying to change the player position?
No
I wanna know how do I make code and solve problems by myself, or is it wrong channel??
You're in the beginner help channel
And this is a common beginner question
Is ur game in 2d or 3d?
Try googling "How do I learn gdscript" or "How do I learn how to program", you'll probably find better answers than just asking such a broad question here. I recommend learning the basics of Python before starting with gdscript, it'll really help you out a lot. Python and gdscript are very similar, and there are better learning resources out there for Python. I recommend Harvard's CS50 Python course, it's free and online
Once you know the basics of Python then I suggest gdquest for godot related knowledge, they have a ton of good stuff
I pretty know python and gdscript basics
Also gdquest is kinda only output stuff ... Ew.. turtle
What?
What?
what
What do you mean only output stuff?
Print("a")
No?
Yea I tried it before
