Basically earlier today I installed Godot Engine for the first time. Upon finding out about the Mono versions C# compatibility I decided id like to use that one instead. I have both Godot Engine and Godot Engine. NET installed, and it seems I can edit a project from the regular version in the .NET version. So I was just wondering if having both versions installed is ok, and there wont be any issues between them or if I should delete the regular version?

of the engine?
you just download the new version and install it
(and as of like 4.3 the project list can tell you if there’s a new version, but that feature is opt-in)

there are some version manager tools for godot and i use those to handle some things but for most stuff i just download the editor from the website

and so personally i get into the habit of renaming each install to include the version number, so it’s easier to launch the right one
