#FDEV - System was acquired and then control points reset to zero/restarted for no apparent reason.

To FDEV -- Was curious if anyone could comment on this. I have provided a bug report and made the mistake of posting it in the message. I was unaware that posting such a link was forbidden and apologize.
Essentially we had acquired system Col 285 Sector VC-B b14-1 during the week of 9-16 April but instead of granting the purple triangle for ALD it reset/restarted the control points. I figure this is a simple bug but it seems to have been completely overlooked despite posting the issue twice as a bug report along with support from other members of our squadron that worked on it.
I was hoping that someone could comment and let me know that this stuff has happened before and will get fixed. The game is grindy enough and it just sucks to have to re-acquire a system you already put the work into. I know it sounds like a rant but just looking for some perspective.

Can confirm it was undermined, your system was delicious 😋

If it was undermined it wouldn't have reset to zero... that is over 120000 points and it is not in a very convenient part of space. It's not like we weren't watching it. But thanks for commenting.

I also have the screen shots that shows it went from 120K+ to zero overnight. That is a bug/glitch not undermining. If it was undermining we would have also noted the traffic passing through that system... none of that was there.

Yeah but that is the glitch... after the Thursday tick it never provided the "purple triangle", There is no way that 120K worth or undermining could have happened in that short space of time AND we were watching it.... it never flipped over. There were no notice of other CMDRs in that area and certainly not that level of activity that would bring it down that fast. Look... I appreciate what your saying but I'm more interested in what FDEV have to say when looking into this problem. They will have the server logs and will be able to tell what I'm trying to explain to you.

I still think a special someone just oopsie doopsied your system away

If you have a barely reinforced newly exploited system, it's child's play for even a single CMDR to knock you back into uncontrolled state. Sounds like that is what happened here.

Next time reinforce instead of just watching it 🍔

NO... it's not... it went from 120K+ to ZERO... that is not normal. It was reset. It almost seems like the BGS never registered that the acquisition took place. THAT is what I'm trying to convey here. It was a newly acquired system that we worked on from scratch -- there was no activity in the area and barely any activity at all in that region of space at that time. Again... I appreciate everyone's comments here I really do but I'm trying to bring my Bug Report to the attention of FDEV because things like this tend to get lost in the shuffle.

I can tell you this because I’m in the crew that took you down. I will tell you this because your posts indicate you have a lack of understanding and I believe in education.

1- it did not require 120K CP to eliminate your system, it took like less than 10K. You had to build from 0 to acquire, but we just have to knock you under 120K to reset you back to 0. You are also set to 0 if there is no fort/stronghold in range of the system. You need to reinforce further or risk huge loss.

2- eddn and inara only show activity if you report it. Obv we don’t report. We do play in open so if you happened to be in system at the same time and the instance gods favored us then you would see us that way.

We do this every week to dozens of people. We set 38 Grom systems to 0 in one week one time. It is how the game is built

This is not a bug, but a lack of knowledge on the systems of powerplay (which aren't exactly well explained)
