#game crash error

...actually, I suspect I already know what's going on. I just figured it out, maybe! π
Had you destroyed a player class earlier? Like.. at least one in-game day earlier?
No, I didn't, but when I was modifying a class, my computer crashed, and i feel like it because of that
Hm.. I'd definitely like a copy of the save, then, to see what's going on! (the in-game bug report will send one, when 'game state' is enabled as something to send)
I'm pretty certain that destroying a player class, waiting until the next in-game day, and then creating a new player class would trigger exactly this error. In fact, I'm looking at the code now and can see that it'd have exactly that problem.
Note that I don't mean "deleted a class earlier in this play session", this one is kind of a "deleted a player class ever" sort of deal.
(am fixing that one now)
ok i did the bug report
Thanks! I'll check it when it arrives. (can take like five minutes to wend its way through our servers)
ok ok tyy
Oh yeah, i remember now π , i did delete a player class, and yeah you're right
btw thanks for developping this game, I love it sm
Okay, got the save, am checking it now. π
Yup, with my fix I'm able to load your save and add new characters. I've sent the fix to the build machine so.. fixed build is coming soon!
Thank youu
tell me when i can start my game :D
Gah, network trouble. Working on it!
Dw, i have my time
Okay, back up and running. Have one more patch for this update. Probably will take about 40 minutes to finish the build and get it up on Steam? Will be posted about to #dungeon-build-info when it's there. π
Nope, the save should be totally fine! Just don't create a new player class until you've got the update. π
Yep thank you
Okay, that build update is up on Steam now! Should be good if you quit out and let Steam download the update. π
Yeah, Steam isn't great about noticing updates unless you restart Steam, unfortunately! You can also force it by doing a 'Verify files' on the game you want it to update.
Thanks for reporting the problem! I think it would have taken me a lot longer to find that bug if you hadn't! π
