Ok so apparently there’s a restriction that you can’t change your username if you are under 18 which I see as unnecessary and really inconvenient. Every time I want to friend somebody I know, I have to check with them somewhere else that its really them or that its me trying to add them when I could just look at the username and know its them. I understand the intent, restricting kids from changing their user is unnecessary. At least make it so that 13+ users can change their username.

TLDR: only 18+ users can change their username and I see it as unnecessary

Sadly this isn't exactly a rumble exclusive thing, I think there's some kind of law preventing anybody under the age of 18 to be able to do this, I remember this happening with my PlayStation ID when I was a kid a few years ago

Those are by law required to have parental consent (which lets be honest nobody does) which is why this game is playing it safe, in case something happens

Different games, different companies, different rules basically which is stupid but eh what can we do

Do users 13+ not have the common sense to not have their user reveal personal info

Not according to the government and game companies apparently

#

Again it's stupid

Trust me I'm on your side with the nickname thing because I have younger cousins who have very weird but amusing names

Also… nice.

as someone who's affected by this, it's so annoying that I can't use, say, my OC name for Roblox user or smth! Kids would get creative and not use their names, I'm sure of it!

Oh I couldn’t find this thread I thought a mod deleted it

Plus, this inadvertently makes the game less safer for kids because if they’re warned about this restriction beforehand they’ll just set their age at 18+ just to bypass this
