I decided to play a match in the morning, I saw this team stage and got eliminated again.
Almost always this happened to me and I assume also to other people who encountered this stage too.
The problem is, that when I try to push bombs to the other side, it somehow doesn't work or it works not that often, but the other team somehow can push them, even directly to our totems and this probably leads our team to lose.
I don't exactly know, if it's supposed to be a part of the game, but I think losing in this team stage often is not that usual thing I experience in game.

Definitely same here, but not just one stage. The game seems to have very bad latency for me:

  • those soccer ball things take like 3 seconds to move after I’ve hit them, in which the others get to hit them like 10 times over (so I basically can’t do anything);
  • the rolling balls take multiple seconds to react to me pushing them, so I never know if I and others are pushing to much or not enough;
  • and even with the finish line, I’ll pass seconds before others, yet get a lower placement (I’ve hit people with the attack item meters before the finish line, gone over the finish line, yet the person I hit & should be stunned somehow placed higher)

Even with good Internet, good router and an optimised network, this problem occurs far too often. The game just seems to have this inherent de-sync. The developers really, really need to address this. This should absolutely be the priority before releasing it to the rest of the world.

More things to add:

  • my attacks are near literally useless. Whenever I use the attack item on someone (if the reticle doesn’t decide to randomly disappear the millisecond I press the button), I get the rings, but that’s it. The other player doesn’t get stunned at all they’re free to go on their way; including hitting me immediately after, or even grabbing an item and hitting me all before I can even touch the ground after my attack. For all I know they might not even lose rings. But whenever I get hit I’m stunned for multiple seconds, and I can get hit by people that should be way too far away to target me. (Edit: Something I forgot to mention, due to this latency, I can be infront of a crowd of over 10 players, yet someone behind the crowd will target me rather than anyone else closer to them; while the game barely lets me target people right in front of me. How is that fair?)
  • this extends to the skills to some degree as well, as others can hit me with their skills when I’m nowhere near them, just because I was in their area seconds before. How am I supposed to dodge anything when opponents are attacking a me from multiple seconds earlier? (Edit: jeez it’s worse than I first noticed. I just had a game where I was getting hit by skills that was the size of 10 players away from me. How am I supposed to avoid attacks let alone dodge them?!)

They really need to fix this latency. What’s the point of playing if you’ve got a massive disadvantage at everything about the game (hitting objects, hitting opponents, avoiding opponents, grabbing items, grabbing rings, passing the finish line, etc). This is getting really infuriating!
