If you want to get 15/16 Red Star Rings, it's more convenient for you to buy the 15-RSR pack than get 4 of the 4-RSR pack, as the former is 2.90 soles (around 0.78USD), and the latter would be 3.60 soles (around 0.97USD). If you'd want it to be the exact amount, some math reveals that 16 RSR would be **3.09 soles *(around 0.83USD)***with the former's price.
However, this convenience is lost with the other packs for reasons unkown to me.
Repeating this same comparison with the other packs reveals this:
- 1x770-RSR costs 179.90 soles (48.37USD), and 51x15-RSR costs 147.9 soles (39.77USD), giving you 765 RSR for less. Forcing the math reveals that 179.90 soles (48.37USD) would give you 900 RSR with the 15-pack exchange rate.
- 1x1700-RSR costs 399.90 soles (107.53USD), and 2x770-RSR costs 359.80 soles (96.75USD), which gives 1540 RSR, so completing it with 10x15-RSR makes the final cost 389.80 soles (104.82USD), by giving you 1695 RSR for less. Forcing the math, though, reveals that 399.90 soles (107.53USD) would give you around 1711 RSR with the 770-pack exchange rate.
- 1x1700-RSR costs 399.90 soles (107.53USD), and 113x15-RSR costs 327.7 soles (88.12USD), giving you 1695 RSR for wayyyy less. Forcing the math is even crazier, since spending 399.90 soles (107.53USD) with the 15-pack exchange rate gives you a whopping 2068 RSR.
If all this confused you, all you need to know is that the higher-amount packs are way worse than the lower-amount packs for their respective amounts, yet buying multiple of the lower-amount packs would be annoying for the player. If they're gonna double down on the monetization, at least make the pricier bundles actually viable. Otherwise, players will really not want to waste both their money and time.
