Controller support via Bluetooth

This'll probably come up a few times but would LOVE to see some controller support for a game of this caliber. Touch controls don't sit too well for a good few people especially for platformers.

using my switch pro controller via bluetooth works! not on the menu screen but in actual gameplay 🙂

Official controller support would be really nice! I think I'd be more inclined to play if I could use a controller via bluetooth with full support

Controllers are Supported already! It’s just not in-game settings. You have to set it up in your Bluetooth Settings!

I go with the Xbox Series X/S controller. However, if we're going to have that, you may as well hide the touch screen interface so that way it doesn't distract you from the game.

Bluetooth controllers work, I'd just suggest having a button mapping menu or controller settings. I had to load a challenge match to find out my controls before playing officially.

this ^^ would be nice to rebind homing attack and that one power-up button specifically

feels odd to press circle for the standard homing attack and right trigger for the power-up, i think it'd be nice to have both on one button while playing controller

I have a elite series 2 and it controls very well, minus jumps due to some button lag
emotes and animations should have a dedicated button to use like pressing Y then using the right stick

The game already has controller support, for the most part. I’ve played this beta using the Backbone on iPhone and with my PS5 controller on iPad.

Still have to use touch controls for menu navigation tho.

Yeah, I don't mind the touch control navigation just as long as in game has controller support.

I have a bluetooth controller.

It's specifically made for phones and it translates well. I just hope they integrate button config or mapping in the final release. I had to load the challenge match just to figure out the buttons before going into party mode.

Okay. I figured out the emotes on my controller. Y for emotes and then choose with the D-pad and then character movements are X and then choose wtih the D-pad.

I think Menu navigatoion with controller should definitely be prioritized. Took me out of the experience having to touch the menus with my thumb

I really hope they do allow more button options to do everything else, preferably custom button mapping
