Efteling is also a themepark which is different from normal hotels where you can more easily just go outside. Besides just because 1 in your country has it doesnt mean its the standard or needed

Here in our country, there are many hotels that have grocery stores inside the building, and it’s really convenient because you don’t need to go to malls to buy the things you need.

Well its our opinion too. Its not like hating groceries. But its more in our thoughts mainly the more fancy hotels you dont do your own cooking and food and stuff. You either eat out or order in. Never cook your own stuff. A grocery store just doesnt fit with it

And while i value your opinion and idea, my opinion is just it doesnt fit with the game. Grocery store specifically. While a normal store like a gift shop does would look good with it. And fit in more.

A simple suggestion was posted, give some feedback. There is no need to dig into people about it, nor is there any real need in continuing the drama here.

I personally like the idea of a small giftshop, as most hotels have a small gift store with drinks, presents etc.

If anyone starts this conversation again in a negative way, you will be dealt with by Moderation action, take this as the only warning. This suggestion will remain open for Game Developers to look into, they make the final decision, no one else.

It's a shame this thread was derailed. I like the idea of incorporating shops into your hotels. I imagine using zones w/ assigned staff would be the best way of doing it.

Every hotel I've ever been to has had at least one shop inside.

Even if it's something small like this picture, it really is a super common sight in most American hotels at least. I could see this being implemented in the game. Might be a more natural place to put the coffee/hot chocolate machines too...

I think it makes sense too wrt the progression of refreshments going from vending machines > direct service. You could have postcards > souvenirs > luxury goods. Foodwise I like the current idea of the bar serving coffee, sandwiches and cakes, but a shop could have candy and other snacks.

I think you could also have the ski rentals incorporated into the shop zone. Possibly with other thematic reskins of the skis, like towel rentals for beachfront hotels, hiking gear for temperate regions, tourist maps for urban areas.
