Money automatically incresing

I have ~$4k left at the end of day 1, but till the middle of day 2 I magically have ~$40k in my bank without any income, this has been consistent in all my save files for reasons I don't understand.

When midnight hits, your loan payments, your credit payments, your tax payments, and your staff payments all hit. This is working as would be logical for a hotel

I know that, but you don't understand:

1. I'm not losing money, I'm gaining it! (Without any Income)

2. If there were some mid-night transactions then how come I gain the money suddenly not at midnight but in between the day without any change in the cashflow

Ich have checked your savegame. Nothing wrong there and it workes like intended.
You got the money back from your copy-pasted rooms.
When you copy paste a room, the cost for the room include everthing like furniture, wall paints, walls and the ground itself.
But when you place it on an already existing ground with walls, it will still calculate the whole room. When the room is finished, you get back the money that you payed to much when placing the room - in your case it was money for the already existing ground and some walls.

even though the appropriate amount amount should be deducted at the point of pasting the layout, not after the room is done

yea i didnt know this for a long time as well. I get why the Devs went the route of charging you the whole amount then doing an auto refund when the work is complete, but i hope in the future they can find a way to have the game calculate in real time how much it will cost without doing that kind of refund process

but I'd put that low on the priority list of things I'd like to see

Yup, for now it's just great to know the reason, seeing the change isn't that necessary
