#HTLF: Lane Selector rough motion (jam/unjam) with repeated rotation

Hi A.T. Community
I am trying to get my HTLF to work, I am able to print from a single lane no problem, however when switching lanes or even doing the self-check on startup
I noticed that the lane selector jams sometimes. It locks and starts skipping, other times it actually pushes through and I hear a click or snap even.
After some testing (manually rotating) I've noticed that a wiggle or back/forth motion helps unjam and select the lane.
(I tested with lane loaded and unloaded with filament, happens in both cases)

Is there a fix for this? To me it almost sounds like the teeth of the hubs are not aligning and they are griding, causing enough resistance to actual cause the
belt to slip!

Any pointers/feedback is appreciated.

Running BT_Prep macro.
Lanes 1/2 are loaded, 3/4 are empty.

Notice the click and jamming is also happening on lane 3 although it's empty (not just lanes 1/2)

You put the needle bearings in your idler gears?

I assume you mean this bearing right? If so, yes I did!

The idler gear (on the depressor) should be riding on needle bearings on the 3mm pins. Leaving those out could cause your skips.
Additionally, mine skipped occasionally at first. Lightly greasing the top of the depressor solved it, but later I went to roller cams.

Is it acceptable to have slight left/right play on the idler gears?
