hello, I updated the AFC software per the instructions outlined in the AFC-updates post. now I keep getting a shutdown before the print starts. I did a quick search on the forums and saw something related to Verbose g code, tho mine is not enabled

Cause the line in the code that its erroring out on does not make sense when compared to the new software update

my heat soak macro takes forever. Im guessing a firmware reset and system reboot are two differernt things? After the install I heard it run through a prep cycle and ASSumed it did a firmware reset and that was good enough per the instructions. I rebooted the system now and ill let you know if the print starts.

Yes. They are completely different

#

Firmware restart just reloads the klipper configurations.

Can you clear out your logs and try it again, these logs look the same as before for some reason, you may have to force a browser refresh with ctrl+F5

when you say "clear out logs" do you mean ssh into the machine and delete the log files in /printerdata??

So weird its acting like you have the old files, try running the install script again, your afc hash version is not right and then reboot your machine
