<@&1304550334839918672>
V0 with Anthead/WWG2 with 2 filament sensors (pre and post extruder)
NightOwl with Fysetc ERB 2.0 board.

I'm running into klipper reports shutdown when changing lanes.
I could fully unload lane1 and half way loading lane2 it reported shutdown and serial closed.

Attached is the latest Klippy.log

I've also had Gstat errors on lane1 and therefor ground both stepper motors to GND on the ERB.

after a Shutdown I need to reboot the ERB before the printer is ready

#

forgot to mention other stuff :
skr pico
NH36 as toolhead board
Pi4 2gb with 64gb sd card (recently flashed)

running Kalico btw!

ERB is on USB also?

low pecan
#

Yeah, running usb

lapis hearth
#

What else is in the USB network?

low pecan
#

V0 display

lapis hearth
#

Is it USB and HDMI?

low pecan
#

Only USB, it's the BTT one

lapis hearth
#

Ah, curious if you were to disconnect it if the problem goes away.

low pecan
#

I've funny enough just had a succesful lane change from lane 2 to 1 🤣

but that's a first out of 15 since i've tried the initial start up

Is your pi being powered via the Pico? nvm looks like its just a UART connector, no power.

low pecan
#

yes, it is powered by the pico!
was prior to my rebuild mounted with the LDO Picobilical which was powering the Pi at the time

lapis hearth
#

Ahhh ok. Interesting. We have been seeing some issues with Pi's being powered via Leviathan boards, mainly just a curiosity on my part.

low pecan
#

sure, happy to hand out any info i can provide

#

ok, Display is taken out

lapis hearth
#

Im not seeing the power-related errors in your log though, seems like USB may just be overloaded.

I've had a waveshare 2.8 dsi display beforehand, but due to adding the Fridge door, it wouldn't fit so had to go with a V0 display 😅 (I miss the waveshare display tho!)

low pecan
#

seems like that's the culprit of my issue

#

succesfully changed lanes 5 times now

lapis hearth
#

Are you just calling T commands or running g code to test? Just curious.

low pecan
#

Currently only tried T commands

#

I'll have to stop for tonight, I'll be trying a actual print tomorrow when all the work and family shenanigans are done

lapis hearth
#

Let me know how running actual G code goes over time, and we'll go from there. Have a good night!

low pecan
#

I will!
You too

commenting for an update.

Hopefully I'll be able to slice a 2 color print for stress testing, later today

okay, it might be the particular spool of the Fiberlogy

low pecan
#

Despite some xy shifting, it did print this!

Well, it seems the spools of Fiberlogy is way to smooth, maybe i just need to get some tpu and print some grippy tires for the wheels

#

@lapis hearth
So, would the layershift feature in afc help with this?

dull vortex
#

do you mean the increased stepper current?

low pecan
#

btw, i'm not doing any cutting(currently still need to figure that out)

dull vortex
#

how are you changing filament then? tip forming?

low pecan
#

yes

dull vortex
#

then no it won't do anything since it only does anything for the cut macro. maybe one of your locations for the swap drove into something and lost steps?

low pecan
#

didn't hear it by the sound, but I'll check it.

Mostly build NightOwl for my V0 to be able to switch between my 2 most used filaments 🙂

low pecan
#

Okay, for the buffer, the High & Low factor, if High is at 1.2 it should feed more right?

Sure i’m tho not gonna go wild at any point with multicolor prints.
It’s more meant for laziness/easiness in changing between the most used filaments on my V0 😄

I’d prefer the cutter, but can’t do something that currently isn’t working hehe
