#Z lift at Poop
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
does nobody have an idea?
how would you get poop without Z-lift?
honestly a picture or more info would be helpful here
This is more of a Software thing, but I’m not sure it’s a supported behavior in AFC at the moment
You can always write your own poop macros to do whatever and call them
i have a poop chute like bambu lab on my trident
so i dont need the z lift
if i print bigger parts, the z lift crush my parts to the top head
So then you’ll need to write a macro to use that and call it instead of the built in AFC one
okay, I hope to find help here or that you can change the existing poop macro
is there not a macro provided with the purge bucket? you've got to poop on something otherwise its just a spaghetti mess
Timoboese: no, I drew the poop chute myself. There is a small tray inside, the pooping works well with the I can't read macro, only the Z lift is the problem. and my problem is that i cant write a macro
time to learn how to write one hten 🙂
this does an example 'purge into a bucket'combined iwth a brush and is well commented
If I have loaded filament into the extruder and then restart using save config, the BT prep is executed after starting but does not recognize that filament is loaded even though the filament switch shows "detected". Does anyone have any idea what the error could be?
If you did a successful tool load (T0-T3), then the state should be maintained during a restart. It doesn't recognize it if the filament was manually loaded to the toolhead.
@limpid whale I am with you needing to get a poop macro without the z movement. What are you using for your chute and wipe setup?
I'm just getting my secont BT set up on my trident.
I have a macro written but not tested yet that disabled the z lift, would you like to test it? @limpid whale
okay cool
yes I would love to test it
thats the latest model 😉
i chance the three things and thats the fault
Option 'variable_z_purge_move' in section 'gcode_macro _AFC_POOP_VARS' is not a valid literal: malformed node or string: <ast.Name object at 0xffffb0375490>
Go and review what I sent in that thread. I made some updates
All the information is in that thread
I have everything as described in the thread =/
Drop in screen shots of your varsity section
yes i delete my poop.cfg and upload your file, and rename it to poop.cfg
Try False instead of false
Let me know how it goes
at the poop z dont move, but if i move z to 50mm and than start the poop macro the bed go to 0,6mm and after the poop to 1,2mm 😥
Okay I’ll look more into later today, i missed something
maybe that's why?
variable_purge_start : 0.6
Yeah more if statements are needed
okay I'll wait 🙂
Thanks for your patience, I’m away from my machine so I’m doing what I can
everything is okay I am happy for all help and am trying to understand everything with google translator haha
I’ll get it worked out!
okay I got it worked out last night
works perfect 😍
'i start a test print and give you return message
test print is fine thanks a lot
