Really bizarre issue I'm currently having. My lane 2 is not loading. I've verified the switch works and is connected to AFC lite. I thought I may have had a problem on that specific switch port, so as a test, I switched the software settings on AFC_lite.cfg where lane 1 would trigger lane 2 and vice versa (switched PC5 and PB0). Interestingly when I hit the switch on the original lane 1, lane 2 would still not fire, but when I hit the switch on lane 2, lane 1 would. Make me think it's a software issue... but no idea where to look. BTW, I restored AFC_lite.cfg back to original after I tinkered on that little test.

is this a kit or a self source build?
can we get a copy of your klippy.log?
pictures of your wiring on the AFC Lite?
output of AFC_STATUS?

you can also enable sensors in teh mainsail gui with enable_sensors_in_gui: True in AFC.cfg. that lets you sort of test each switch manually and observe what it reports

I just did the enable_sensors_in_gui and got this when I triggered the switch (no loading noise). I can trigger the stepper and the spooler fine though.

I'm pretty embarrassed by the wiring and don't have my phone with me, so I'll do some cable management and then post a picture if needed 😉

Instead of switching the switches, can you try switching the motors and see if the error follows the motor

This is the results after I moved Lane 2 with the BT_LANE_MOVE MACRO, both the spooler motor and the extruder work and will feed (I used Lane 3 first to see if I "heard" any differences

Yet the light is still red - and it didn't trigger it to pull it into the extruder - it only fed on the BT_LANE_MOVE command

Well - I think it just fixed itself! No idea what happened, but after I ejected then tried to load it again it actually triggered. I'm guessing I hit some sort of edge case or something.

Well in this photo, it does show that lane 2 load sensor is triggered which would cause AFC to not activate the extruder when triggering prep because it thinks its already loaded. We have already put a message in for this type of error, just have not push it to main yet since it was recent

Yeah that makes sense. Glad it wasn't a hardware issue really.
