I'm currently facing the issue that the third lane is completely ejecting during a filament swap which results in an error the next time the filament should be loaded. I ran the auto calibrate to get the distances, maybe that's the issue?

Have you ran the calibration command to confirm bowden distance?

Also it could be that since you are using tip forming that if its not clean enough and there are strands they could be in the hub and could possibly keep it triggered, if this happens then AFC tried to clear the hub which would result in filament going past the BT extruders. Do you notice AFC erroring out at all when doing the change that results the filament going past the extruder?

That could be the issue since sometimes tip forming leaves 20mm long strands

I had this same problem when I was using tip forming with the older switch, its was kind of a pain to deal with
