how much ports you assigned? mine works whit no issue
If you have only have 1 port you need to add second port that will be used for the reliable messaging.
and you need to set the reliable messaging port variable to that second port
as example . Can be found under Admin side - Startup
How and where do I have to change or set this
Under the startup tab, where all variables are set
You'll need to do that from the admin side of the panel.
like this
Yes
Don't worry about that
ok i restart an than i test
Have the same but i have no issue with the server (connecting/playing) .
If I want to make several satisfactory servers I can always get 7778 as reliable port
No each server needs it's own set of ports
so i cann use for one server 7777 and 7778 and for the secon server 7779 an 7780 `?
You can do that
Do I have to allocate the ports in the node or does it work automatically because I can then no longer use the ports for other servers if I then use e.g. 7780 Can I use it for any other server
the ports can be any number that is allocated to the node
If 7780 is in use by Satisfactory, you cant use it for any other server.
So if I use 7778 and 7780 as reliable port I can't use them in other servers
exactly
Thanks
Now I have a problem with the second satus server I have set the revival report to 7780 and the gameport to 7779
And it doesn't work again I get again

try +1000 ? so 8780 and 8779 ?
I have now used different ports but after a while I still get this timeout I think that somehow the port is not working properly so I get Still the timers out
I have found the following for: https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/1411376803804872904/1411472081992024154/rn_image_picker_lib_temp_9ada647a-b75a-4393-bffb-d3d4348d3455.jpg?ex=68b4c750&is=68b375d0&hm=bd86d9a1e727a7d9eff3d98ab557bc5c8638ca70cdb83a7f3c8d94cd3251418a&
@worn lily; You'll need to grab the error logs from the Panel. The following command uploads the last 150 lines of this day's log to our pastebin and provides a link you can share.
tail -n 150 /var/www/pterodactyl/storage/logs/laravel-$(date +%F).log | nc pteropaste.com 99
you can try to change Network Quality setting inside Satisfactory server manager
or Navigate to the home/container/FactoryGame/Saved/Config/LinuxServer directory.
Open: the Game.ini file.
Add: the following lines to the end of the file:
ConnectionTimeout=120.0```
Save: the file and start the server.
What else can I try
Are you selfhosting or on a vps ?
If on VPS check if no any other firewall is in front that have closed the ports ?
If selfhosting (at home) check portforwarding /firewall ?
https://dnschecker.org/port-scanner.php? i think you can check those ports if its open

You have not allocated the second port
Exactly. You have not allocated the second port for your satisfactory server
I have 8778 and 8779
In the first satisfactory server, port 7777 is integrated in the container and port 7778 is only stored as a reliable port and is allocated in the node
that works
But on the second server with gameport 8779 and reliable port 8778 it no longer works
You need to assign 2 ports to the container/server. Otherwise it can't use it.
then you playing an older version then 1.1 ?
Okay I'll give it a try
1.1
Strange, it should't work if it isnt assigned. because the container has no 2nd port assigned so the reliable port shouldn't work.
I have now passed both ports to the container
And of course everything starts
you set 8778 in startup ?
8778 is Read OnlyReliable Port and 8779 ist the game port
so it should work now ?
you connect with 8779 port ?
yes
so i diden worl
?
also put a password ? i could connect/load to it.
oh i see thanks for the help
working now ?
