If you have no knowledge, making your own host is not a good thing.
It requires a high amount of knowledge in multiple fields

Linux knowledge, Security, you need knowledge of Cloudflare or some other WAF to prevent attacks, you need to be up to date to prevent exploits, monitoring for abuse,

You can always just self-host, get one machine for yourself and put Pterodactyl on it, but I highly suggest do not start a hosting.

buy a vps where linux runs as an operating system and then install pterodactyl following the documentation or look up a recent video on youtube how to do it. if you want to follow a video be careful that it's not too old.
