Also consult their documentation for setup. https://docs.papermc.io/velocity
If you want to learn how to correctly setup Minecraft on Pterodactyl then please read this guide https://pterodactyl.io/community/games/minecraft.html
Pterodactyl is an open-source game server management panel built with PHP, React, and Go. Designed with security in mind, Pterodactyl runs all game servers in isolated Docker containers while exposing a beautiful and intuitive UI to end users.
(This is for single machine sorry)
If you want the machines to be able to talk to each other and each other only so you do not accidentally open a game servers port. Then please use a firewall to punch a hole for the two machines to communicate on the required ports.
wow man! so helpful! yeah i didnt think of that! yeah i totally dont already have a firewall setup and am asking for help to set it up for 2 machines! thanks for your help!
I am not required to help you at all. You are asking about something outside of the scope of Pterodactyl.
i hate to break it to ya but it's not outside the scope of pterodactyl 🤯 , you dont know how to help, dont respond dipshit
How is Velocity anything to do with Pterodactyl..? If you want to be able to connect to a game server that is hosted on Pterodactyl from a different machine then either put a VPN between the machines or configure your firewall correctly to allow communcation between the machines.
are u autistic?
Shasta, better reflect on your own behaviour for a little bit, you are way out of line, learn to show some respect to the people offering you support.
