Hello 👋, and welcome to the Pterodactyl Discord @jaunty stag! We're excited to see you here, but we'll likely need a bit more information from you in order to provide a good experience in these support channels.
Always share any errors or logs in a text format or using paste sites for me to assist you. Please make sure you've collected — and provide — any associated error logs relating to the service with which you're seeking help. The commands below should help you out, and once you've provided the logs I should be able to better assist you.
Panel: tail -n 150 /var/www/pterodactyl/storage/logs/laravel-$(date +%F).log | nc pteropaste.com 99
Wings: sudo wings diagnostics
Please see .plogs and .wlogs respectively for more information.
please provide the link given of running ls /var/log/pterodactyl* | nc pteropaste.com 99
so how did you install the panel
followed the docs but im using docker and cloudflare tunnels
how could you have followed docs if you used docker version?
the site node.wakeservers.com is up but not node.wakeservers.com:8080
oh i see
you are just spamming now under an alt
love to see it
then spend time learning how things work
you were kicked for spamming, not banned
this is 2 weeks
you didnt respond to us either when asked for info
ok my bad
so what i said still stands - how could you have followed docs if you used docker version?
can you give more info please
1 sec
this instant was 100% followed by the docs I was just meaning docker wings
everythang works local
well you'll need to consult the troubleshooting section of the docs to get more info
because there is no way we can help with what you've provided and i still dont understand exactly how you've installed this
just that one thang with it putting 8080 at the end of the node.wakeservers.com
the docs
ok let me guess
you followed a youtube video
Pterodactyl is an open-source game server management panel built with PHP, React, and Go. Designed with security in mind, Pterodactyl runs all game servers in isolated Docker containers while exposing a beautiful and intuitive UI to end users.
no this
i know then why can it not connect to the panel
so 8080 at the end of the domain is not a problem
the troubleshooting guide, can you please get more info for us from your troubleshooting steps
ok
you have to understand how this software works
wings talks to panel and panel talks to wings
understand what you've configured and NOTE what ports each side uses
then you have your answer
i know how it works
and if its configured correctly, then you should follow troubleshooting to get more info
you sure are not descriptive of someone knowing how things work. context is important
sorry for my bad english and not giving context but i have fixed the problem, i changed this to 443 from 8080 and seemed to fix the issue
so basically you proxied it
and you created your own complexity
btw thats not per the docs
yup
you caused your own problem
Pterodactyl has features to enable use of proxies, however we cannot provide support for proxies as it adds great complexity to the application set up. Troubleshooting complex network setups involving tunnels and proxies is extremely difficult to do without access to that network. Supporting complex network issues is outside the scope of this support.
