Hello everyone,

I'm experiencing an unexpected problem with my Pterodactyl setup. Recently, both of my nodes have suddenly stopped connecting to the panel without any apparent reason. This has been quite perplexing, as everything was functioning smoothly until now.

I've double-checked the network configurations, server statuses, and firewall settings, but everything seems to be in order. However, despite these efforts, the nodes remain disconnected from the panel.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue before, or does anyone have suggestions on how to troubleshoot this problem effectively? Any assistance or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards,

Make sure that your wings are running using systemctl status wings and that your Wings ports (by default 8080/2022) are open in your firewall or router. This website can check your ports https://dnschecker.org/port-scanner.php

Browser console errors can also provide additional debugging information. More troubleshooting steps can be found at https://pterodactyl.io/panel/1.0/troubleshooting.html#cannot-connect-to-server-errors

Should the panel and wings be located on the same network, you might experience NAT reflection issues. In that case, type .nat for more information.

Your SSL certificate does not match the nodes hostname

Another thing, when trying to modify the hostname of a node, I get this.

And when I go to the config.yml file, I don't really understand what I should modify.

Yeah because the ssl cert doesn't match the node FQDN
