So I'm st ill quite a bit new to all this, but I'm trying to allow my friends to edit things in my home server.

It's on Ubuntu Server 20.04, I watched a video on the install of pterodactyl, and I'm thinking I didn't set something up right because when my friends go to the domain I setup for the panel, it loads, lets them log in, let's them view all of the servers, but doesn't allow them to edit files (through the panel or FileZilla), doesn't allow them to Start, Stop or Restart the server, and is basically just a thing that they can look at.

I've opened ports for 80, 2022, 8080 & 3306 but it still doesn't seem to work. Could anyone help?

did u created account for them and then assigned them as subusers?

if so you would have probably not given permissions correctly.

thats because you set it up wrong

you enterd in some places the local ip what should be the public ip (it works for you because you can acces the local one)

also video or scripts are not supported

only the offical docs are!

if it comes down to it, ill work on setting it all up better once i get the actual server im setting up, just have it set up on an old dell optiplex rn
