You use the egg in the repo for mohist

flat shale
#

You have a exemple ?

untold lava
#

Example of what?

#

You just install the egg i assume? I never used it lol

flat shale
#

No i don't have install eggs

untold lava
#

Then you install the egg

#

I gave you the link where to find it

flat shale
#

I need the version 1.20.1

#

I need the version 1.20.1

#

it's 1.19.4

ornate crater
#

please don't just upload eggs here

ornate crater
untold lava
#

Dude.. look after you upload the egg.

#

1.19.4 can be changed upon creating the server.

ornate crater
#

we should realy have a checksum in eggs so if there edited by hand they fail to import

flat shale
#

In this case how to install mohist?

untold lava
#

get egg > import egg > change version when creating server.

#

Honestly, it can not get more simple then this.

flat shale
#

it's okey ?

untold lava
#

Yes looks fine

flat shale
#

good ?

untold lava
#

Just create a server now

#

Choose that egg, and go from there.

flat shale
#

how chose my version ?

untold lava
#

Where it now says 1.19.4, make that the version u want

flat shale
#

good ?

ornate crater
untold lava
#

If u want that version, sure

flat shale
#

what allocation ?

untold lava
#

Dude

#

How did you install pterodactyl?

#

What command did u use?

flat shale
#

The command official ducumentation

untold lava
#

I have my doubts.

flat shale
#

oh okey

untold lava
#

You make allocations

#

Needed for that server

#

And assign them

flat shale
#

the location is create

#

To create a server you must create a node and create a location

untold lava
#

Do you have a node?

#

Yes i see u do

#

So create the allocation..

flat shale
#

good ?

untold lava
#

Sorry.. this is such basic stuff..

#

I can not hold your hand through every step.

clear crown
# flat shale ,

You should go and read the documentation first before trying more « complexe » stuff

#

It seems you’re not really at ease with easy tasks, you should probably go ahead and familiarize with everything you install first

flat shale
clear crown
#

It’s not useless it’s the truth

flat shale
#

is very useless

untold lava
#

Its very true.

#

You "installed" the panel and wings.. try to setup a server.. but have no idea what ur actually doing.

#

Thats why you read up to it.

flat shale
#

I just thought that installing a custom egg would be done in another way

untold lava
#

I mean the egg is not the part that made me stop helping.

#

U didnt even know how to add allocations etc

flat shale
#

my serveur is created bro

untold lava
#

Good

#

Server*

flat shale
#

shit

untold lava
#

Thought it was created.. bro?

You'll need to grab error logs for Wings and share the link with us. The following command will help you collect the required information for debugging: sudo wings diagnostics

flat shale
#

I thought the loading was normal

untold lava
#

Get some logs then

flat shale
#

oh

Dude.. just stop

#

And turn around

neat iron

You've missed an entire section of the install process

If you are struggling with this, please turn around now and consult a sys admin

U clearly have no idea what ur doing

You are expected to understand how to read documentation to use this Panel. We have spent many hours detailing how to install or upgrade our software. Please, take some time and read rather than copy and pasting and then complaining when things do not work.

If you expect to be able to install this with no understanding of basic linux system administration you should stop and turn around now

In the node page (on the panel) click on the node you created, then click configuration. Copy the entire text and paste it in and nano /etc/pterodactyl/config.yml, paste it in, then save the file. Try restarting wings after that.

mohist isn’t recommended- it changes essentialsx jars to modified ones, which may not be safe

@flat shale It looks like you are having issues with connecting to Wings.

Make sure that your wings are running using systemctl status wings and that your Wings ports (by default 8080/2022) are open in your firewall or router. This website can check your ports https://dnschecker.org/port-scanner.php

Browser console errors can also provide additional debugging information. More troubleshooting steps can be found at https://pterodactyl.io/panel/1.0/troubleshooting.html#cannot-connect-to-server-errors

Should the panel and wings be located on the same network, you might experience NAT reflection issues. In that case, type .nat for more information.

I'm angry because I can't configure an IP but only an FQDN but my domain has not been accepted
