#Waiting for RCON to come up... (RUST)

Hi, I installed Rust, but it does't let me connect to the RCON, by the port I used, am I missing something? Can I use pterodactyl console instead of RCON?

I have the following console message:

Waiting for RCON to come up...
Waiting for RCON to come up...
Waiting for RCON to come up...

And whenever I do something:

app.info
Unable to run "app.info" due to RCON not being connected yet.

I have all ports opened with no issues, I have them opened with TCP and UDP on my linux server and on my router.

It's weird because I selected the following Ports:
Server Port: 27099
App Port: 27098
Rcon Port: 27097

And when I try to connect to the RCON
I use 27097 as the RCON port but it doesn't work, but when I connect to the 27098 port I connects partially, it says connected but it doesn't do anything...

Has someone had a similar issue?

Please explain the issue you're experiencing in as much detail as possible. Preferably with error messages in a text format or paste link to logs. Nobody can assist you without information that helps to understand the issue. Help us help you. Messages such as "doesn't work" or "i need help" will most likely be ignored.

If I may ask why aren't you using the default ports? Are you running multiple rust servers or another type of server using 28015, 28016, 27017 and 28082?

And if your server is saying
Waiting for RCON to come up...
It Obviously means Waiting for RCON to come up aka online you won't be able to access RCON Until the server is fully started up and marked as running on pterodactyl

Rust has no console, that's why pterodactyl has to connect to it using rcon.

rust can take a fair bit of time to come up, but if it never came up it likely crashed for some reason.

Usually not enough resources, or a config issue
