#Additional IPs wont work

So basically I have everything set up, and everything is working fine except additional IPs.
I have default IPv4 of a machine and I have bought additional IPs so that I could use default game ports for different game servers. Like csgos 27015 port.

Problem arises when I assign an IP that isnt machines default. Those additional IPs dont work for some reason even tho I have set up additional ips properly in netplan since Im using ubuntu.
It somehow doesnt detect that additional IPs. For example. I create csgo server and I put it on second IP, in the console of the game still registers the default machines IP.

Does anyone know how can I fix this ?

Please explain the issue you're experiencing in as much detail as possible. Preferably with error messages in a text format or paste link to logs. Nobody can assist you without information that helps to understand the issue. Help us help you. Messages such as "doesn't work" or "i need help" will most likely be ignored.

Make sure you can ping your additional IPs

#

Is this OVH? If so, do you have the firewall enabled for those IPs ?

If the game firewall is on for that IP (It may be by default) then you won't be able to connect though it until you either configure it, or disable it

So its like this, default as it came

Yeah, either configure the OVH firewall by adding your games ports in there, or disable it

No problem.
Yeah the OVH game firewall is very restrictive and will block all incoming UDP traffic if you don't add rules to allow it. Great for a layer of DDoS protection, but catches a lot of people when they don't realize it's there or how it works
