Ark Server do not response

I just set up an Ark server and wanted to play with a colleague. However, we cannot access the server. When connecting says Steam. Server do not response. What can be the reason, or could someone help me?

Please explain the issue you're experiencing in as much detail as possible. Preferably with error messages in a text format or paste link to logs. Nobody can assist you without information that helps to understand the issue. Help us help you. Messages such as "doesn't work" or "i need help" will most likely be ignored.

Hey friend, that just means it's booting, just gotta wait it out, depending on your cpu and ram I've seen it take anywhere between 30 seconds and 10 minutes

Also make sure your connecting via the port 27015 or what ever your rcon port is

Okay, how can I make sure the port is free for this? it is definitely stored in the node

rcon isn’t the port you use to join the sever.

If you’re having trouble joining the server, make sure you’re attempting to join the server on the correct port. And if you are, use an online port checking tool and see if your port is open

which port would that run on to get to the server? which port scanning tool should I use best?

I believe you should join via query port yeah

cheat and saveworld are valid commands for ark servers. Also, in case you're having issues connecting to the server, make sure the docker container is bound to an IP that is reachable from the outside.
