How do I do these type of questions? What's the core concept?

So, here is the idea. You cross-check if your 50 will give you the answer, it won't, then you see kaha pe tum garbadi ki hai. Whatever answer you get, it should plug in and give you the same values that are in the question, right?

What you need to do is total charge, minus two, okay, so minus two charge is given by X amount of what do you call it, M2 plus and 0.83 minus X amount of plus three. That is what you have to start with.

got it

#

electrical neutrality

#

brain kicked in

#

every M(2+) x contributes 2, M(3+) contributes 3 and oxygen -2

#

gotchu

hexed river
#

ohh

#

neutrality wont be maintained if we directly just take that

#

that's not how M 0.83 is defined

#

got it thank u sir

balmy valve
#

2x + 3(0.83-x) -2 = 0
x/0.83 should be the ans right ?

hexed river
#

yep

balmy valve
#

alr

#

btw

#

can we think like 0.83 ions have a charge ( or oxdn state) of +2

hexed river
#

eh?

#

x comes out to be 0.59

#

sorry no

#

0.49

#

you can think 0.49 ions have +2 charge

#

and the rest have +3
