I don't really understand how to distinguish between wt-kx and kx-wt. can we write (kx-wt+pi) as (wt-kx)? can someone pls help with this question. not very familiar with the conventions.

it would -sin(kx - wt + pi/6)

now take -ve inside

sin (wt-kx - pi /6)
