Not sure what to do with that second equation
Note that c vector and cxa are perpendicular to each other.
So basically magnitude of b vector has perpendicular components c and 2(cxa)
Now just do $\sqrt{\abs{\vec{c}}^{2}+(2\abs{(\vec{c} \cross \vec{a})})^{2}}$
