Why are we taking the full division , ans comes when we take full division but galvanometer has that-ve 0 +ve deflection so shouldn't we take only half the divisions.

Ans is 1

Not sure if that's the convention across jee questions but that's how you'd explain this option

It means that the potential difference is on the opposite side

so current is flowing the other way round

The idea is that even though the magnitude is the same, the actual value (and the direction of the needle) is different and we understand the data from it

or it can be converted into a different reading later on (eg: instead of labelling the galvanometer from -xV to +xV you can label it from 0 to +2xV)
