Ok so the particles here refer to what exactly? I am not sure bc my understanding always was ki electrons deviate from the path and electrons have a uniform mass and charge

ig it refers to atoms

Or does it mean the electron in the positive ion?

#

Kinda makes sense, could u confirm ?

bronze gale

e- in +ve ion ?? tht goes bouncer to me

by magnitude toh they mean tht ... like e- charge on atom is -1.610^-19 so magnitude is 1.610^-19
with no.of electrons, ig the net charge varies so if this net charge is more then deflection is more

#

ig Ashish sir has taught this, gotta find tht video now

So won’t it be anode rays? Here they r talking abt cathode rays and electron deflection, not ion deflection

bronze gale
#

so, ig cathode rays are nothing but stream of e- so greater the magnitude (like just the value) of charge , greater is deflection and ig by tht time the charge was not calulated, is it?
