The logic is that in the others, length,velocity, and time can be expressed in terms of each other so it's fine if any two out of the three are present. But mass cannot be expressed in terms of any of the other three. Therefore, mass needs to compulsorily be present as one of the three fundamental quantities

so i have been taught that funda qties are independent of any other physical qties
