I think with Anomalies involved, timelines are going to be all over, look at Hotori's, a lot of her stuff seems like she was living in like the early 1900's at the earliest in terms of aesthetic. They are going to use the anomaly mcguffin to kinda allow for all sorts of blending of timelines and eras and cultures to give them freedom to do whatever aesthetic they want I feel.

Not so sure about that exact scenario, but yeah Zankou rn is pure villain... if it seems hard to imagine her working with the protagonists, that's mission accomplished for the story. Redemption arcs are best when the reversal is as dramatic as possible (while still being plausible and fitting)
I'm hoping we get the full reconciliation package, Zankou and Daffodill becoming sisters again and everything

The second option, the one she chose, was to be an ordinary human. That way the debt collector doesn't come for her but she's subject to ordinary human aging and death

There is a rather big analogy with the Portrait of Dorian Grey, pretty much indicated when you talk to the portrait in the ballroom. And here we have a figurine representing Renee, with her hair greyed out (possibly due to aging) and missing her heart (due to Debt Collector collecting his debt). So... the process by which Renee turned into human wasn't quite described to completely understand it, but her representation as a doll likely died.

Well, Dolores's wish for the original puppets was for them to be loyal and obedient to her, and her wish for Renee was for her to be a real child. She got her wish in both cases. Since Renee is an ordinary human being now, and not a living puppet, she's not contrary to nature in a way that would trigger the debt collector. I'm pretty sure that's the intended takeaway. Renee sure didn't seem to think she was going to die the very next time it hit 9PM

Then we have Daffodil's "family" who bear certain similarities to Dolores' situation

I don't think Renee is going to die 9PM next night. I looked at a vid of the epilogue again, and it seems clear to me that the laws of nature would remain contradicted and the debt collector would come for her only if she chose eternal life as an esper construct. The other choice, to live meaningfully as a human being, is the opposite: no debt collector, but eventual death like any other human being. Keyword "eventual"; the literal quote from Renee is "And as a human being, my life will eventually come to an end." She wouldn't have said "eventually" if it was going to happen that very night.

One famous example of it is Frieza... Especially in DB Super in Tournament of Power Arc. his scenes were pretty interesting. He was helping by basically disposing of mooks and even tried to kill Gohan if he was too unprepared. The final team up attack with Goku was Glorious.

Then he goes back to his genocidal ways lol with a little bit of respect, in terms of fighting.

Ehhhhhh. Persona itself might not be Canon Universe but just Canon game especially since I think Persona X is from the same dev, and Porsche can go either way tbh.

They might do a proper Porsche brand and named vehicle or they could just do a design and have it be called something else.

Though there might be a very close Persona expy since the movie you end up watching with Fadia is basically Harlequin and Joker.

If you mean 'Persona is a game in the NTE universe' yeah, absolutely. I don't think there'd be a lot of arguement there other than maybe official stance because licensing stuff.

If you mean 'Persona is an active side story within the NTE universe' than naw.

And that's why I say it depends on the Porsche collab and how it ends up, because iirc all of the ig cars have irl models, just under different names. So they can either be just 'Porsche branded car' or they can end up doing a 'Regalia branded Porsche'.

The funny thing is NTE has a way of making the Persona canon as "Meme Anomalies"as they are a game granted they are popular enough in the NTE world as well. Plus any other anomaly classes that could have made a portal between them (Aka, some portal just appeared out of nowhere gacha collab)

barring that, i dont think real brand products that are in alternative earth aint really a problem as it it an alternative earth...

They have concepts of devils, angels and gods, why is a brand name not allowed to exist in an alternative world.

brand name is rather specific. Brand name + brand emblem is very specific🥲 From the worldbuilding perspective you have to consider how those appeared in that exact form

If the Porsche car has a no damage aspect to it it might be a whole 1:1 brand name allowance. I think there's something like Ferrari and Lamborghini don't allow their vehicles to be visibly damaged in games they show up in, so that's one thing to consider.

Do note I said no damage and not invuln; they'll likely still need repairs.

For me it's more about expectations. If author builds the world so that Porsche would be expected in it, then no problem. If author builds the world in a way that Porsche is not expected there and then brings Porsche there that's a different story

it depends on how you expect alternative worlds to work. Emblems, logos and brand names have certain rules to how they are formed. For example, you can trace the tradition behind how european logos are made back to traditional heraldry and then further to roman iconography and then further to ancient Greece etc. The same goes for chinese graphical elements, they have a separate history and tradition. So, assuming this, an alternative wolrd would have their own tradition, maybe similar but still different in which the exact same logo is very unlikely to happen

They also have this convo in a game where in the old days people still believe in the gods... Mammon has Egyptian theming. Sure they wont say the exact country. But i think NTE has enough leeway for brands to exists. Because theyre from the old days
