Hello, I need some clarifications about the ending of chapter 3(?) or 4(?) was it?...

Which part of Renee's memories were false? Or did Zankou(forgot her name) just twisted the narrative "BUT" everything was real?.

Cause in one of the screenshots, the MC said "So Zankou used her esper ability to alter the family history, making renee believe she was responsible for her family deaths".

I mean in a sense, it's kind of true(?) but not once did it show that the siblings blamed Renee.

So like, did she just pushed "that" narrative or what?

I didn't just pulled an all nighter hoping to give the game's story another chance only to fall under a genjutsu for 2-3hrs

the "Lie" was that Renee caused the deaths of her family. In reality they died bc they wanted her to live on. thats why her mother, Dolores, gave her her eye of immortality. Dolores' main wish was to have a "real" child hence the story of the carptenter. Zankou wanted to make Renee despair so that she'd willingly give up her immortality which was the rule. The best lies contain some truth.

• There is just simply more to 'eternal' life with all these different moving pieces

Well SCP are documented thru experimentation and how they initially deal with them.
I would assumed BAC also works the same, if they found a undocumented Anomaly they would create some notes and information based on their interaction and its behavior. Plus also exclusively to the BAC they seem to allowed the public to created their own documentation and insight in their own encounter and even how to contain and control the Anomaly.

The only major difference between SCP and BAC is practically how they operate. SCP is a secret organization that make sure the public is unaware regardless if SCP is beneficial to the public or not. while the BAC is practically screwed it and lets themselves be public knowledge and also allowed beneficial Anomalies to be part of society.

Well there is, Legally MC is still a human but also a Anomalies. so you practically have a serious legal problem. Anomalies required to be process at the BAC to be a citizen. What would happened if MC is documented as a "Anomalies" but also being a human being with birth certificate to boot. Then you got a serious problem would you put MC as a Anomalies and be restricted in a lot of stuff or just destinate them as human.

the last available episode did point out BAC is concerned about the puppets if they are a former human. Which could put them in jeopardy if they accidently mistreated them especially they literally contrained them ala SCP style.

If an anomaly gets nullified, but then recurs somewhere else or at another time, it'd be like coming back in the same way as a kami's seal being broken - at least, that's how I see it for now?

Depends on the type of anomaly. Some of them are actual proper unique, like I imagine Mammon, Arachne, etc, but others are more a specific type of anomaly, like a pokemon. There might be some variation in their canon 'real life' appearance and the like, but at their core they're still 'that anomaly'.

Swallowtail Fly/Dragon or whatever is a reoccuring 'That Anomaly', same with the 'Prolific Elevator' dealio.

Actually regarding her design...
I do believe that all the different characters powers are tied to their past somewhat and their traumas.
Not that I have any proof of this, but it just feels like there is a correlation when playing through the different character stories.

And Daffodil having mainly chains as her powers and knowing that she's from a somewhat 'evil' adoptive family she ran away from, she might have quite the dark back story to uncover later on

||A lot of it was accurate. Dolores was gifted the puppets and they started to awaken. When renee awakened that book was created essentially putting a time limit on all the other puppets. Dolores gifted the eternal blessing to renee to protect her from the debt collector. Zankou only took on the appearance of the sister bella but they're not related. She was manipulating renee to feel guilty for receiving the blessing so that she would give it up. Zankou is actually more like Daffodil's adopted sister||

My theory is that Daffodil was either an orphan or an experimented subject that was adopted by this “mother”, “mother” then took those kids and named them each with flower names and hence founded The Society so the white haired girl is named something too. I would assume that society was founded by that “mother” for an ulterior motive they needed that immortality stone from Rene’s eye hence the whole manipulation.

I think that maybe the puppet girl didin’t betray her family and the betrayed doll actually symbolized Daffodils leaving the society. ||

||Daffodil was part of the Scarlet Letter organization founded by "Mother". Zankou is her adoptive sister. (They are all orphans taken in by "Mother") Mother took them in because they were "unique". What that means remains to be revealed. Zankou was "Bella" in the story. Zankou's "lie" was that Renee's family didnt love her and blamed her for their deaths. As Daffodil said toward the finale that Zankou had the ability to manipulate memories. In truth Renee's family probably loved her as much as Dolores did as she made the ultimate sacrifice so she could live a full life. Also the reason why Renee was different from the others was bc Dolores wished for a "real" child. That's why Renee acts befitting an actual child.

Me and a few others theorize that the way Zankou appeared to Renee wasnt actually "Bella". Remember when we first talk to "Bella" Renee says she doesnt remember what "Bella" looked like. Zankou says the way she looks is how Renee percieves her to look like. Well at the finale we see that no, that's just how Zankou looks as Daffodil instantly recognized her.||

The fact she brought 7 dolls to life who also had immortality was against the law of nature. Only reason why Dolores is immortal is bc she had an anomaly that made her immortal. Renee's siblings are actually gone and were indeed taken by the Debt Collector. The numbers were the days left. Renee had 20088. That's 55 years and some change. The ledger was a record of how long they had left.

Now for what was the lie. The lie was that Renee's family resented her. That they blamed her for taking time away from them and from their mother. Zankou's entire goal was to make her feel survivor's guilt and willingly give up the eye of immortality given to her by her mother, Dolores. Dolores supposedly is alive but outside of time. The story of the carpenter woman was to reflect what Dolores was missing. She wanted a "real" child. That's why Renee was so different from the others and why Dolores adored her.||
