I really doubt it, it's a completely different studio, and the CN of course as you admit, is the canon origin, but sometimes they DO cast JP VA's with intent like that, so it's not impossible.

But if you're just basing it on the actual subtitles alone, it's really vague and hard to tell the actual intent. There's generally no weight being applied and some moments where there should be resistance like daffodil launching forwards or Chaos holding back the chains. There's no weight nor momentum

And nevermind the large glaring issue of Zsro being launched into a wall then next frame they're 5m away from it. That one has jsut severe continuity issues.

Idk where people pulled out the entire fight is AI when it's just the animators not double checking their work to make sure that everything flows in one sequence with the appropriate measures being taken like momentum and weight

Omg, so, the Taygedo quest was not funny at all to me, super boring and I ended up skipping it towards the end.

But the Lacrimosa intro quest, some pretty funny moments and the ending where she "thanks" Skia legit got a RL loud laugh out of me. Her mimicking Taygedo's way to speaking was super adorable too. I've found most of the attempts at comedy so far pretty cringe or just meh, but they can do it when they try.

Hii! so recently I was doing the Pawn Moonlight quest and in the scene where we go to the manga place I saw these panels. I found it really interesting that they made a sketch version of early stage drawing of the intro cutscene we had when first starting the game (i think).

In this I also found a panel I dont know if it appeared in the trailer.. it seems like a mystery hand grabbing cars and buildings. Since most of this is linked to the original cutscene when we first started, im assuming it plays some role.. or I may just be overthinking it.

To me, I say play any game in whatever language you dig, but the only time I will recommend a specific language, even if sometimes the JP VA's are cracked there too, is Endfield and OG Arknights in EN, due to the multi-lingual and English with accents thing that plays into the worldbuilding so much there, and they only do it on the EN Dub.

Jane in ZZZ is a Femme Fatale to a T in every way, even her trailers and alt outfit in her banners have her in noir femme fatale style, but she doesn't have ill intent towards you either.

Basically, the whole thing with modern femme fatale, is that they ARE that type, but you're special, so while they tease you the same way, they don't mean you ill, because you're the MC and they are your waifu so they treat you special

Cus like, if you went back in time 1 year, you're not going to be on earth any more, unless you're also moving in space. Nothing about Earth fundamentally would lock you to a specific space in physical space while travelling through time, and most attempts at more elaborate explainations don't even address that basic element.

So again, a simple hand wave is best, and keeps the holes from being as visible, imo.

the way I see it, I'd like to think that the anomalies are like a recent phenomena to them. likely in the range of 3 to 5 years since the start of the first anomaly incident. MC is probably older that most of the cast as well. after his meeting with Baicang, he could have stayed in detention within that span as well, hence his familariarity with the people he talked to after he was released.

It's also likely that anomalies are already present before the first cinematic cutscene but to a more subtle effect, likely to gather information, before the full blown invasion (first cinematic)

the MC itself is a mystery. I theorize that he is older than the most cast of characters in the game. probably older than the world itself.

okay I am 100% certain that "Pawn Moonlight" is made to be done before "Deal? Deal!". Everyone kept mentioning things in the quest that make sense while doing pawn moonlight. Like meeting us before, or how Jiuyuan knew about our ability, etc.
